By focusing the Institute’s mission – to ‘accelerate the adoption of sustainable investing’, we sought to prove the business case and break the myth that sustainable investing automatically meant lesser returns. We recognized the need to appeal to both the heart and head but ultimately showcase effectiveness.
Highlights included CEO of the Institute Audrey Choi’s TED Talk and publishing partnerships with The Atlantic and Bloomberg to bust myths. We developed an index tool to educate people about investing in social inclusion and climate change solutions in partnership with the Economist Intelligence Unit. This allowed the Institute to lead the debate with a sense of urgency and become an authority brand. Today, the Institute is a leader in sustainable investing.
